📅On May 05, 2026, public discussions were held in the Uspenivska community of the Odesa region regarding the development of the Detailed Plan of the Territory for the construction of a solar power plant. During the discussion, community residents and representatives of local authorities reviewed the key solutions of the project aimed at developing the modern energy infrastructure of the community.

🏞The solar power plant is planned to be built on a land plot with an area of 2.76 ha outside the village of Kryva Balkka. Previously, this territory was used for agricultural needs, but currently, the plot is free of construction, which allows the implementation of the project without additional load on the existing infrastructure.

📊The capacity of the future plant will be 2.015 MW. The project provides for the installation of 4,634 solar panels with double-sided generation technology, which ensures the absorption of both direct sunlight and light reflected from the ground surface. It is expected that the power plant will produce about 2.6 million kWh of electricity annually.

🔧Special attention is paid to the development of related infrastructure and the safety of the facility. The investor plans to construct a new access road 600 meters long, as well as to equip two underground water reservoirs in order to ensure proper fire protection. For stable communication on the territory of the plant, the use of Starlink terminals is provided.

🌿During the hearings, it was also emphasized that the operation of the solar power plant is safe for human health and the environment. The panels operate silently, and the process of electricity production is not accompanied by pollution of groundwater or rivers. The facility does not create harmful radiation and does not affect the radiation background of the territory.

📈The implementation of the project will also have an important socio-economic effect for the community. The local budget will receive stable tax revenues, and permanent jobs will be created at the enterprise. In addition, the approval of the Detailed Plan of the Territory will contribute to attracting investments and strengthening the energy independence of the region.
