We gained invaluable experience by participating in ArcGIS Desktop software training. This will allow us to more fully realize the potential of this program, improve the quality of our services in the areas of cartography, urban planning, creation and filling of cadastre and databases, as well as improve practical skills and expand the professional competencies of our employees.
In the introductory lesson, the team got acquainted with the basics of the software and the organization of the workspace in it - this is how our first day began.
Speakers are real experts in their field. Have fundamental knowledge and practical experience. With unsurpassed energy and enthusiasm, they generously share knowledge, which makes learning really interesting.
The second day was devoted to practical exercises and solving real problems in the team:
- learned methods and tools of GIS analysis to identify and solve issues related to spatial aspects of data;
- mastered the tools for creating SQL expressions of queries to create selections of objects;
- is aware of the methodology of creating layouts for working projects.
It was a great way to apply theoretical knowledge in practical situations and establish interaction with colleagues to reach optimal solutions.
Thanks to the organizers from Geonix! The training is over, but the inspiration and new knowledge will remain with us. This training was a good basis for the further professional growth of the Archizem team.
