On October 14, 2024, the Skvyra City Council held a public hearing devoted to the discussion of the draft General Plan of the city of Skvira and the zoning plan of the territory, which also covers the village of Kononovka. The event was organized with the participation of leading specialists in the field of urban planning. The main directions of development of the city and territory were presented for discussion:
- Increase of areas for residential and estate development.
- Reconstruction of existing enterprises taking into account planning restrictions.
- Improvement and development of transport infrastructure.
- Reconstruction and new construction of engineering networks and structures.
- Measures to improve the environmental situation in the city.
Particular attention was paid to the delimitation of hazardous industries and residential areas, as well as the reduction of sanitary protection zones and the formation of security zones in accordance with the current legislation. This will provide comfortable living conditions for city residents.
Public hearings have become an important platform for open discussion between local authorities, experts and residents. All participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the project documentation, ask questions and express their comments.
All proposals and views expressed at the time of the hearings will be taken into account by the developers during the elaboration of the draft master plan. After that, the documentation will be sent for consideration by the Town Planning Board for further approval.
