🏡On March 6, public discussions took place, where Archizem specialists presented the results of the urban planning monitoring of the General Plan of the Zelenohirske settlement. We together with the community looked at what the settlement is today, and what it can become tomorrow.
What did the analysis show?
👥 People are the main priority. Demographic trends indicate the population is aging, and therefore the environment must become inclusive, safe and convenient for everyone, from children to the elderly. Medical and social support must be available close to home.
📈 The economy needs renewal. The agrarian and social model is exhausting itself. The settlement needs new jobs, modern production and services, so that residents can work where they live, and not travel far away.
🚰 Infrastructure into order. Yes, basic communications exist. But new districts and remote streets are waiting for the renewal of water supply and heating. And also pedestrian routes and bicycle paths, which make life more comfortable.
Conclusion, the current General Plan needs changes that will allow achieving strategic goals:
• Update the functional zoning of territories according to the real requests of residents and business.
• Ensure uniform development of transport and engineering infrastructure in all parts of the settlement.
• Create conditions for attracting investments and sustainable economic development.
• Integrate modern standards of environmental safety and barrier-free environment into every construction project.
