📅 On November 7, 2025, a meeting of the architectural and urban planning council was held, at which the draft of the General Plan of the city of Skvyra (together with the village of Kononivka) and the zoning plan of the territory of the city of Skvyra were considered.
📘 The urban planning documentation was developed and prepared by the Archizem Group commissioned by the Skvyra City Council. The General Plan determined the main directions of further development of the settlement, taking into account the features of the existing building development, engineering, transport and social infrastructure, as well as the natural-climatic and landscape features of the territory.
📍 The city of Skvyra, located in the southern part of the Kyiv region, is the administrative center of the Skvyra territorial community. It has an advantageous transport and geographical position, a developed network of social infrastructure and significant potential for further economic and recreational development.
The project provides for the expansion of residential development territories taking into account the projected demographic needs of the city and the provision of proper living conditions for the population. Special attention is paid to the development of public centers and objects of social infrastructure — educational, healthcare, cultural and recreational institutions, which will contribute to improving the quality of life of residents.
Also planned is the arrangement of industrial zones with compliance with environmental requirements and sanitary norms, which will allow reducing the technogenic load on the environment. An important component of the project is the improvement of the transport network of the city, the improvement of connections between residential, public and industrial areas, as well as increasing road traffic safety.
🌳 Special attention is paid to the formation of green zones of general use, parks and landscape-recreational territories, which play a significant role in creating a comfortable urban environment and preserving the natural balance. During the meeting, the members of the architectural and urban planning council provided a number of proposals regarding the further improvement of the General Plan and the zoning plan of the city of Skvyra.
💡 The implementation of the provisions of the General Plan will allow determining the long-term strategy of spatial development of the city of Skvyra, ensuring comfortable living conditions for residents, the development of the economy, social infrastructure and the protection of the natural environment.
