On December 16, 2021, an architectural and urban planning council was held at the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture of Donetsk Regional State Administration in the format of an online conference, at which the master plans of the village of Cherkaske and the villages of Ivanivka, Novomykolaivka, Snorky Cherkasy settlement of the united territorial community were considered Kramatorsky district of Donetsk Oblast Cherkasy united territorial community.
The urban planning documentation was developed by the Kiev architectural department of the company “Arhizem”. The presentation was given by the chief architect Tatiana Cherney. Council members adopted the master plans without comment and approved the transfer of documentation to local governments.
Earlier, public hearings were held in Cherkasy AHG, at which the draft master plans of these settlements were considered.
Cherkas'ke is the administrative centre of the community, located 28 km northwest of Kramatorsk, 17 km west of Slavyansk and 149 km north of Donetsk. The railway line Slovyansk - Lozova passes through the village, from where the railway branches branch in the direction of Kharkiv, Kiev, Dnipro and Zaporizhia. Also through Cherkasy flow the rivers Sukhyi Torets and Cherkasy, the Siversky Donets basin.
The villages of Novomykolaivka, Ivanivka and Shnurky are located north of the village of Cherkas'ke, near the national natural park “Holy Mountains”. In the production plan, the territory of the villages is mainly used in agricultural production and processing of agricultural products.
The solutions of urban planning documentation are aimed at the comprehensive development of the territories of settlements, in accordance with their resource potential and the peculiarities of the formation of the economic complex.
The master plans provide for the development of social infrastructure, engineering and residential areas. Also, the decisions of the master plan are aimed at the development of production areas, agricultural facilities and the development of recreational areas is proposed.
