Capital Repair of Turnouts for JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”

Under a contract with the regional branch “Odesa Railway” of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”, Archizem specialists prepared design and estimate documentation for the capital repair of turnouts. The documentation was developed in full compliance with applicable legislation, standards, and regulations. The facility falls under Consequence Class CC3, and the project received a positive conclusion of the State Expert Review.

As part of the assignment, Archizem delivered:

• a full scope of engineering-geological and engineering-geodetic investigations;
• design solutions for horizontal and vertical alignment correction, turnout replacement and renewal of the adjacent tie-in sections, and rehabilitation of the formation and drainage structures (Railway Track section);
• design solutions for utility relocation (Signalling and Telemechanics section);
• an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA);
• a Construction Organization Plan (COP);
• preparation of bills of quantities, specifications, and cost estimates;
• coordination with the client and support throughout the expert review process.

As a result, the client received a complete documentation package and end-to-end engineering support for implementation, aimed at improving operational reliability and increasing train speeds.
